Apotheosis of the Modern Bodies, 2020

Visual essay inspired by the essay Toxic Progeny: The Plastisphere and Other Queer Futures by Heather Davis. This poster is about a future where culture and nature are fused together.

Plastic is an unnaturally external force, which is violating our bodies and will make us non-reproductive in the future. We arrived at a state where we need plastic. It became an addiction and it is everywhere around us. Our culture, our human-made Plastisphere, is merging into nature.

We are glorifying the Plastisphere where we live in and which we created, while we slowly fuse together with this toxic environment. We started this transformation. In the future, we have to accept new queer life forms - human and non human.
